Marching Band tournament season is HERE! The Band & Color Guard will perform the All Valley Tournament on Saturday, October 24 at Pierce College. Our 2026 Band and Color Guard Camp will take place on weekdays from July 28 to August 6. Each day, camp runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. All Band and Color Guard students, including incoming 9th graders, must attend. This camp is vital for a successful year. You can expect a fun, positive, and productive experience. The Royal Regiment Band & Color Guard will once again participate in the Valley Village July 4th parade. Participation is optional for current members and open to any Regiment Alumni! This summer, NHHS is once again offering a FREE drumline and percussion class for students of all ability levels. From complete beginners to experienced musicians, this class will have something for everyone. The class will focus on marching snares, multi-tenors, bass drums, cymbals, mallets, and music theory. I am thrilled to announce that the Royal Regiment will be adding an additional teacher to our 5th-period team! Next fall, our NHHS Dance Teacher, Rae Latsch Toledo, will be joining us as the Color Guard & Dance teacher. The grand opening of the John Williams Performing Arts Center (JWPAC) is finally here! Our new performing arts classrooms opened last week, and the JWPAC Auditorium will open next week.
