Guitar  1 (Intro to Modern Band)

Guitar 1 is open to any student interested in learning guitar, bass, and or percussion. The class teaches beginning guitar with an emphasis on popular music. In addition to guitar, the course offers instruction on all modern band instruments, including drum set, bass, piano, and vocals. Completing Guitar 1 will count towards the Visual and Performing Arts "F" credit in the A- G course requirements. Students who wish to continue are welcome to join the Modern Band Class the following year.
