Friday Night Lights & Parent Meeting Aug 17

We hope everyone had a successful first week back to school and is looking forward to the new year! We'll hold our first parents' meeting tomorrow, Monday evening, August 17, at 6:30 PM. This meeting will follow up on our culmination meeting and ensure band parents are well informed about expectations, costs, schedules, and our goal of building a community of support for our students and families.

BAND: Our first football game is this Friday, August 21! The call time is 4 PM in the music room, where we'll have our first team meal together before suiting up in our uniforms and heading out to the stands. Parents, please note that our estimated dismissal time is 9:30 PM. However, we ask for your flexibility and patience until Mr. Sharp has excused everyone. It takes time to change out of uniforms and ensure our facility is clean before students can go home. We won't have marching shoes for the students yet, but we hope to order them this week! Band will meet after school on Monday Aug 17 but not on Wednesday Aug 19 to give students a chance to acclimate to the new schedule.

We're one week into our Band & Color Guard Fall Fundraiser (Click HERE!) and freshmen are showing up strong! We are at 26% participation overall as of this moment, but there's time to improve that before Monday night's parent meeting at 6:30pm! We'll have all the updated stats and will answer questions and collect cash / check donations at that time! If you want to skip the cash/check/credit card steps, you can also donate via Zelle by scanning this from your banking App. All donation before Aug 28 will be applied to your student's fundraising page!
