Reed Jazz Festival • March 6, 2026

This Friday evening, our Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Walter Reed Jazz Festival. Walter Reed Festival shirts and food will be available for purchase. General admission is $10, and there will be a special guest performance by the Dan Taguchi Band. Our Jazz Band is scheduled to perform at 6:30 PM, followed by a clinic at 7:00 PM. Please note that students are required to dress in all black (long-sleeve button down black dress shirt, pants, and shoes) for this event.

Here is the student schedule:

• 5:00 pm - Arrive (your parents are responsible for transportation). Put instruments in assigned room

• 5:30 pm - Listening: Cleveland B Band (Optional)

• 6:00 pm - Warm Up in Rm 148 

• 6:30 pm - Performance

• 7:00 pm - Clinic 

• 7:30 pm - Break 

• 8:00 pm - Listening: Cleveland A Band (Required)

• 9:00 pm - Listening: Guest Artist: Dan Taguchi's Thursday Night Big Band (Required)

• 9:30 pm - Awards 

• 10:00 pm - Finé
