Band & Color Guard Camp 2025 • 411!

Our 2025 Band and Color Guard Camp is scheduled for the weekdays between July 30 to August 8, from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Attendance is mandatory for all Band and Color Guard students, including incoming 9th graders, to ensure a successful year. Camp will provide a fun, positive, and productive experience that helps bring our team together, fostering healthy work habits and friendships that will last a lifetime!

If any student has a scheduling conflict, please inform Mr. Sharp as soon as possible. This fall, we will meet in the NB AG area bungalows. Enter through the Weddington Gate (see the map below).

All student are required to complete the LAUSD Athletic Clearance, as well as our online application. We recommend students submit their Athletic Clearance paper work including the signed confirmation page & LAUSD physical (2 pages)by the first day of camp but they have until August 20 if needed.

On Wednesday, July 30 (Day 1 of camp), a pizza dinner will be provided, so students do not need to bring food. However, please make dinner plans for all other days by either bringing food or money to purchase food. Local takeout is within walking distance, but students will only have 40 minutes for dinner.

We ask all incoming 9th graders to attend 9th Grade Orientation on Saturday, August 9, instead of Thursday evening, so you won’t miss camp.

Finally, we invite all family and friends to our Camp Culmination in the NB Ag Area Bungalows on Friday, August 8, at 7 PM. We’ll have a meet and greet with families followed by a performance from the band featuring new material and some of our classic pep songs!

What to bring & what to wear?

Band Students: Please bring comfortable shoes suitable for marching (NO SANDALS!), weather-appropriate clothing, a water bottle, your instrument, music, and sunscreen. Don’t forget to print the music for all pep songs, Dave’s songs, Monster Jams, and Jock Rock tunes. Here’s a link to download the music. Here's a link to download music.
