Welcome Music Students!

Welcome to a wonderful new year at North Hollywood High! On behalf of the Music Department, thank you for being part of our program. I hope you had a fantastic summer and are excited for another year of music.I always remind students that maintaining a positive attitude is one of the most important keys to success. When combined with a strong work ethic, it earns respect and helps us achieve our goals. This year, I want to encourage all students to set personal and team goals. Challenging ourselves to meet high standards allows us to grow, sharpens our focus, and builds lasting discipline. There is no greater feeling than the sense of accomplishment! Now let's put our best foot forward and have a great year! 

Fall Schedule for Band & Color Guard

I want to thank everyone who attended our band camp as well as the camp culmination! It was a huge success, and we are excited to build on this momentum. After-school practice for Band and Color Guard begins tomorrow, Monday, August 18, 2025. Attendance is mandatory for all members unless students are sick or have an excused absence for that day. Please click here to view the fall schedule! Our first Drill Day will take place on Thursday, August 28, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM as previously scheduled, starting with a team meal in the Ag area. A heat wave is coming, so we will be mindful of the weather and keep students indoors if necessary. Please come prepared by bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat!

Dropping off & Picking up Music Students! 

I'm sure everyone is talking about the new campus layout with the long path to the music room! Unfortunately, Weddington will remain closed for the semester. Please begin using the Gym Parking Lot entrance located on Chandler as our new drop-off and pick-up location for students. This is the closest and safest location for our music students until the new performing arts building opens next semester.
