On Saturday, March 2nd, the NHHS Wind Ensemble (AKA Band in concert mode) will perform in the Pacific Coast Region Wind Band Festival at CSU Long Beach.We encourage parents to attend this free concert and see our band perform in the spectacular Carpender Performing Arts Center! Students will also participate in a 30-minute clinic and see other ensembles perform, including the CSU Long Beach Symphonic Band. The experience will provide students an opportunity to develop proper concert etiquette, enhance analytical listening skills, and support other musicians and music programs from Southern California. A team meal will be provided. We hope to see you there!
Concert Attire:
Boys: Black sport/suit jacket, white long sleeve button-down dress shirt, black slacks (dress pants), black dress shoes & socks, black long tie • If you don't have a jacket a black long sleeve dress shirt will work as an alternative!
Girls: Long black dress (no spaghetti straps or strapless), or black dress pants/skirt (below knees please) with a white or black dress blouse/top • dress shoes • Think classy!

9:00am- Call Time (Load private vehicles with Tuba, Bari Sax & Baritone)
9:45am - Bus Departs NHHS
11:00pm - Watch Somerset HS Orchestra? (if we arrive on time)
11:30am - Watch Newport Harbor Symphonic Band
12:00pm - Watch CSULB Symphonic Band
12:45pm - Lunch Break • Team Meal Provided
1:45pm - Set up Instruments
2:00pm - NHHS Warm Up Time
2:30pm - NHHS Wind Ensemble Performs
3:00pm - NHHS Wind Ensemble Clinic
4:00pm - Bus Departs Long Beach
5:30/6:00pm - Estimated Dismissal
