LAUSD Band Festival • Feb 28, 2026

Feb 28 AEB Music Summit 

Next Saturday, February 28, the Wind Ensemble (aka Band) will perform at Reseda High School during the LAUSD AEB Music Summit. This event is free, and parents are encouraged to attend to support the band as they perform concert music for the first time this year. Lunch will be provided, but please be sure to have a hearty breakfast before arriving.

Here is the event information:

Concert Dress: 

• Boys:   Black sport/suit jacket, white long sleeve button-down dress shirt, black slacks (dress pants), black dress shoes & socks, black long tie • No Jacket? A black long-sleeve dress shirt will work as an alternative. 

• Girls: Long black dress (no spaghetti straps or strapless), or black dress pants/skirt (below knees please) with a white or black dress blouse/top • Think classy!  

Schedule:

• 6:45 am - CALL Time: Be dressed, ready to go! Weddington Gate will be open

• 7:00 am - Walk to Chandler Gym Gate

• 7:15 am - Bus Departs 

• 8:30 am - Active Listening #1 (Reseda HS Band)

• 9:30 am - Warm Up

• 10:00 am - Performance / Clinic

• 11:00 am - Active Listening #2 (Cleveland HS Band)

• Lunch 

• 11:45 / 12:15 pm - Bus Departs

• 1:00 / 1:30 pm - Estimated Dismissal
