I hope everyone had an awesome summer break! Band Camp 2023 starts tomorrow and we can't wait! Camp will meet from 2:30pm – 9:00pm every weekday between August 3 – 11. We will be learning new music on the FIRST DAY and perform it at our culmination on Aug 11. Finally we'd like to invite all our families to see our camp culmination on Aug 11. We will have drinks and desserts at 7pm followed by a performance from our Band at 8pm. There will be a pizza party on August 3 for students so no need to bring food the first day All 9th graders are encouraged to attend Freshman Orientation on Saturday so you don't miss the Pizza Party on Thursday! Please plan your dinners on all other camps days! Sections are encouraged to eat together on Friday Aug 4th and squads on Aug 7. Parents! We would greatly appreciate it if you can help you children coordinate meals. On Tuesday Aug 8 we will have a student potluck! Student should discuss with their sections and then sign up here once you know what you'll be bringing!
Students should be prepared by bringing comfortable shoes for marching (NO SANDALS!), weather appropriate clothes, sunscreen, bottled water, and food or money for dinner! We can't wait to see our students bond with each other making friendships that will last a lifetime.
