Back to School Night, Football Games & Drill Day #2 • Sept 11-13, 2025

We are excited to share our progress with you this Thursday evening at Back to School Night and at our first football game on Friday! Back to School Night begins at 6pm and PreGame on Friday starts at about 6:45pm.  

As we haven't had a parent meeting yet, we will address your questions and concerns on Thursday during the 5th period presentation. Additionally, we started a tradition of hosting brief parent meetings in the music rooms after each football game. This allows parents to mingle with band families and stay informed about important events and updates in the music department. Once the game ends, parents should make their way over to the music quad while waiting for their child.

Regarding football games: Please know that students cannot just leave after a football game but need to wait until Mr. Sharp has excused their section. Students must work together to put away equipment, change out of uniforms, and clean up the rooms before being allowed to leave. If a family needs early dismissal, they can speak with Mr. Sharp that evening. However, please note that this may be seen as preferential treatment, which can impact team spirit. 

Finally, our second drill day will be Saturday Sept 13 from 8 AM to 12 noon. Please remember that the drop-off and pick-up location is at the West Chandler gate near the gym. Weddington may be open, but please do not drive into the alley.
