Performance Etiquette & Student Expectations

Students are expected to act responsibly at all times. Your behavior, whether positive or negative, will reflect directly on our school and music program. Please work together to exemplify the high standards, and etiquette we have come to know and love about our program! Students are to stay with the group at all times and show the upmost respect to our host and the other bands. If you need to use the restroom, do so between performances. Please be in the concert hall or in our instrument storage room at all times! Superior performances are the result of superior focus and concentration. Please stay quiet and focused throughout the day. Finally and most importantly, have fun & learn from the experience. Ask questions during the clinic and make insightful observations to share at a later time.

Attire & Concert Dress: Bring a jacket as it will be a chilly morning!

  • Boys: White long sleeve button-down dress shirt, black slacks (dress pants), black dress shoes & socks, black long tie. If may also wear a black suit jacket or even a black dress shirt

  • Girls: Long black dress (no spaghetti straps or strapless), or black dress pants/skirt (below knees please) with a white or black dress blouse/top • Think classy!
