Jazz Festival at Walter Reed • April 11, 2025

A big congratulations to the Vocal Ensemble on their first-ever Choral Festival with Mr. Allen! The adjudicators from LAUSD were truly impressed with this brand-new ensemble in its first year. Just imagine what this group will sound like in a few years! Next up is the Jazz Ensemble, which will be performing at the Walter Reed Jazz Festival this Friday, April 11. Admission is $10 for spectators. The Pandemonium Big Band will once again be the guest artist, closing out the evening right before the award ceremony. Here is the schedule for our Jazz Students:

• 5:15 - Jazz Ensemble Students meet at Walter Reed

• 5:30 - Unload in Storage Room

• 6:00 - Warm Up 

• 6:30 - Perform

• 7:00 - Clinic 

• 8:00 - Observe Cleveland A Band

• 9:00 - Observe Pandemonium Big Band

• 9:30 - Awards 

• 10:00 - Dismissed / Parents pick up student at Walter Reed!
